You coniving rogue...

Just when I thought Doodler might have a sensitive side that would show in his animations, he totally ruins the serious mood... and brilliantly replaces it with one of humor. The ending caught me off guard, and I thought this piece was very well designed and just oozing with style.

Doodler, will you have my illegitimate love child?

Although this short has a humorous facade, it also relays a deep message...

"All your base are belong to us."

Great parody...

Oh my, my sides hurt. How about this question.. are you straight? how about 33.3% bicurious? hmm, Tanner, you strike me more of a trisexual, which includes women, barnyard animals, and most gardening tools...

AntiTanner responds:

I'm still not answering the question! Maybe in the next movie...

I like the frame by frame...

this is nice, but move away from the stick figures. I can tell you'd have a good style, seems "Ren and Stimpy" inspired. Your anticipation, squash/stretch, and emotions are definitely your strong points, just don't use stick figures!!! they are too easy to animate and don't look that great. Where'd you learn your techniques? just get them naturally?

Lemme guess, you go to Palomar College? God damn I'm good. Actually I know Andy Cambell, from high school. That was weird to see him on your site.
.
Good site, good animation.

I really like this piece.

Good job. The long wait was worth it. I'd just like to suggest to you to get smoother transitions between music. The music sounded chopped up and stuff. Um, the animation, like always, flawless, except you could spruce it up a little bit. I really enjoyed the first person punching scene, i thought that was the pinnicle. A plot is starting to form, i don't know if that is intended (which i hope it is) or if it just happened. Well, i can't wait till the next one!

GO FRAME BY FRAME!

Brilliant

Ah, my eyes hurt. Too much eye candy (yuk yuk, yeah i know i'm horrible). Anyway, your vivid colors blended with your beautiful backgrounds, and epic music combine to create a great animation short. Do you use photoshop to edit images? It seems to me that this cannot be done in flash. Also, how do you do these backgrounds? In photoshop or something like that i suppose. Well, in all this is a great series, but i have one suggestion. Eric, could you please make this all tie together. Make a plot out of this, because so far this story is way over my head. I hope you are able to piece together a story, that would make this all the more exciting. Well, you have a fan, and admirer, since Marcus Peblo 1. I hope you make many more, and good luck to you.

Wonderful overall piece...

This is a great usage of tweens. There wasn't much frame by frame, which increased the framerate by a lot, and that's a good thing. You used it to your advantage, because this is really smooth. Good job and keep it.

This one was funny

The little boy was hilarious. And to all those who think Santa isn't real, you are right. He was real (as proof in this movie) till that damn crowd tore him up. Great movie, good graphix, great jokes.

Dang...

i'm loving your frame by frame animation there. it's so fluid, and the transitions that you use are beautiful. i'm wondering what inspired you to do something like this, because i'm searching for inspiration in the same direction. could you get back to me? nice film. 2 thumbs up!

Very nice...

It was short, but that's to be expected when watching Brian James movies. But, the quality of it surpasses the quantity. This is a very nice movie that you have Brian. I'm loving it. Some of the sound fx were a bit loud, and distorted but the animation was very smooth. a few frames looked awkward, but maybe i'm just nitpicky. Very nice film, i appauld you.

It's called pirating....

All sound effect are from a game called counter-strike, which you failed to site. The song is a download off the internet. The actual weapons are just like those of counter-strike that you vectored and touched up a bit. So that leaves the crappy square little people. Well some people may think this is good but i thought it was a piece of crap. "Final Task" is far superior, I even think *gag* "Star Wars Gangsta Crap" was better than this. Ack! You viewers are really mysterious to me. Gosh look at "Final Task," IT'S SOOOO MUCH BETTER. So to the author of this movie, it's a good idea, but don't pirate other things off of games and the internet. Make the movie your own. I think that the nightvision and the building were ok. You need to work on those square characters tho. I'm expecting more outta you. You show good effort tho. Keep that up. Better luck next time and NO PIRATING!
